Refund & Cancellation Policy

At  KMS Door Step Services, we aim to provide reliable and transparent appliance repair and maintenance services.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled.

1. Service Booking & Confirmation

All service bookings are confirmed via phone, SMS, or email. Customers are expected to provide accurate details
(name, address, contact information, appliance type, and issue description) at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations by Customers

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us at least 12 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the appointment may incur a nominal cancellation fee.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect future booking priority.

3. Cancellations by  KMS Door Step Services

In rare cases, we may cancel or reschedule appointments due to technician unavailability, emergencies, or uncontrollable circumstances
(e.g., weather conditions). Customers will be notified promptly, and an alternate date/time will be offered.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds will only be applicable if the service was prepaid and not delivered due to our cancellation or inability to complete the repair.
  • No refunds will be provided once a service has been completed and acknowledged by the customer.
  • For payments involving spare parts, refunds are not applicable once the parts are installed or used.

5. Advance Payments

If an advance payment is made for a booking that is later canceled (with sufficient notice),
the amount will be refunded within 7-10 business days through the original payment method.

6. Non-Refundable Charges

  • Inspection or visiting charges (if applicable) are non-refundable once the technician has visited the site.
  • Any service fee already utilized toward labor or diagnostics will not be refunded.
